Anchor! drag alarm App Reviews

I love the remote monitor mode so I can leave my iPad aboard and while Im in town I can monitor the boat for anchor drag- peace of mind

I have bought and used numerous anchor apps over the past few years. I found that Anchor! is the best app for my use. Three functions in an anchor monitoring app are critical to me: 1) reposition the anchor location after anchoring, 2) tracking boat position, so I can assess the anchor holding before and after wind shifts and gusts, and 3) remote tracking. Only a few apps have all three, and I find Anchor! to have the clearest info (eg, range and bearing to anchor when repositioning, and age of last update on remote track) and highest ease of use. Just a great app!

I switched from Drag Queen to this app and it is like night and day. The graphical interface is beautiful. I love seeing my tracks, and the app is so intuitive to use. The admiral loves it too and sleeps better because of it. This is the best anchor app around.

Just downloaded and installed this app. I know I am not a very bright man, but after an hour of reading everything I could about setting this up and activating notifications, I wasnt able to 1) get it to email an alert 2) make an audible sound when alerting. The only thing I could get was a splash screen saying "Alert". LOL That would only be helpful if I were sitting awake all night watching the iPad. It was only $2.99 but I feel like it shouldnt be so hard to get it to work correctly. I have felt ripped off before, but have to admit, this is the first time I actually took the time to write a review and/or rate an app poorly. It hurt that bad! Lol
